WORRY: The word for Worry comes from the Anglo Saxon to "Choke"... which makes me think of Mr 4:18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, Mr 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful...

How does the Word get Choked out and become Unfruitful? I suppose it would not be so much Sin or Mistakes or anything as sinister as that but by the simple act of Worrying... which many of us are very skilled at. I wonder if we would become more diligent in regards to our thoughts if we were to ever fully grasped the concept that by allowing ourselves the luxury of worrying we are actually responsible for Choking or Cutting off the life that should be flowing out of God's Word.

I hate Anxiety and Worry! It's not of God because it literally steals most everything... it paralyzes you... it takes the joy out of life... leaves everything very black and white and gray... I am convinced that God doesn't Worry! It's not in His Nature. I am also convinced that He wouldn't want for us to worry... and that makes sense because He says that He's got it all under control... Therefore, I don't think that we have a Supply problem or a Worry problem... most of the time... well, all of the time what we really have is a Trust issue. I'm worried that He won't what He said He will... and that worry Chokes out the Benefit of what He Promised. Thus, I become responsible for killing the very seed that He gave me to produce the answer that I am worried over in the first place.

If God's Word to us is regarded as a Seed that when it releases its full potential will produce a great Increase then it is in our best interest to not hinder the Seed. I think that it is important that we believe in the Power that God has placed in the Seed and stop worrying about the Power of the enemy to deny us the harvest of that Seed. For the Truth is that God is the Lord over the Seed... not the World.
