Just last week 106.9 The Light spent the day broadcasting from Rutherford County. What a treat to have an organization like that come to our community! How sad though that the reason they came to is because our community is listed as one of the most needy in America. If nothing else this should call to our attention that there is a Great Need for Change.

You ever just have one of those days? I have them on a regular basis. Unless you've Pastored a church (and yes I know that pastored isn't a word) you can't really fully truly understand the issues and trials that come with the position. It's unique. Compliments and Compensation are rare. Critiques are common though. The hours are... well endless. There is never a place where you've arrived. It's just a change of scenery. Each level of church growth has it's share of struggles and problems. I often wonder why we do what we do.

Did you realize, and this is so very simple but it is so very Good... did you realize that Today is going to be a great day! It is going to be a great day because where we are Now God our Father has already been! While we were yet on our way here to this place and moment in time He went before us to Prepare this place for us! While we were resting in yesterday He was clearing the path, removing the debris and setting a place for us here! He has spied out the land, He has ensured our provision and He has dealt with the enemy so that we can find a place of rest!

36, it's a number, a step along the way, a number further than I had ever imagined, but closer than they say...

I Wished away my youth, I tried running from my past, found someone I wasn't looking for and I pray it always last...

I've seen life begin and I've watched it end, neiither leave you quite the same...
But what I have found as a travel round is llife changes you; day by day...

You know Vision is a funny thing, it see's cleary what has past
but seeing clearly what is to come, is far too much to ask...

What has come before was wonderful, far too grand and fair...

Frustration is having the best restaurant in town, everybody that comes loves the food but the very sad truth is that very few people come. The eventuality is; after some time the regulars come one day, only to find that the windows have been shuttered and the doors are locked and no one understands why such a Great place closed. It was such a lovely restaurant, nice people, great food but no business.

The Lord has been dealing with me concerning the Art of being Consistent. Understanding that it is Consistency and not ones Talent and Giftings that produce Prosperity. Our Talent and Gifting may carry us for a time, they may provide us the opportunity to be "Successful" in the short term but it is in doing a thing well, to the best of you ability even, over a long period of time that ensures Prosperity in any area of our lives.
